Floyd McKinney Floyd McKinney, 79, of 2831 Fairlawn Drive, Columbus, died at 9:10 p.m. Thursday at Jackson County Schneck Memorial Hospital after a one year illness. Most of his life was spent in Seymour. He lived nine years. in Monroeville, Ala.

In 1971 he retired from Arvin Industries after 40 years employment. The same year he moved from Monroeville to Columbus. He was member of First Baptist Church, Columbus; St. John's Masonic Lodge; and Arvin's Quarter Century Club. Born May 15, 1901, in Jackson County, he was the son of the late Leonard and Mary Elizabeth Cooper McKinney.

On Sept. 12, 1919, he married Dora Bishop who survives. Other survivors are: one son, Donald M. McKinney, Louisville; four daughters, Mrs. J.W.

(Kate) Jackson and Mrs. Alfred (Betty) VonDielingen, both of Seymour; Mrs. Charles (Roselyn) Snyder, Brownstown; and Mrs. Robert (Hazel) Nelson, Columbus; one brother, James McKinney, Bloomington; one sister, Mrs. Hazel Armuth, Columbus; 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Two brothers and two sisters preceded her in death. Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. William Griffith officiating. A Masonic service will be held Sunday evening.

Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery. Friends may call from 1 to 5 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday and until time of service on Monday at Reed Jewell Funeral Home, Columbus. Memorials may be made to.

First Baptist Church, Columbus, or the American Cancer Society, Zonda L. Kilgas Zonda Louise "Lou" Kilgas, 66, of 833 W. Tipton died at 4 p.m. Thursday at her home after open heart surgery Sept. 15.

A housewife, she was member of the First Baptist Church. She was born March 10, 1914, in Muncie, to Ora C. and Eunice Buell Hunt and had been a county resident 45 years. She married Alfred O. Kilgas on Sept.

24, 1938, in Brownstown, and he preceded her in death on Nov. 29, 1979. Surviving are five children, Buell, Ogden, Utah; Sharon, Little Rock, Willis, Seymour; Steven, Martin, and Mrs. James (Carol) Allman, Seymour; 11 grandchildren; three stepchildren, Mrs. Raymond (Jeanette) Emily, Clearspring; Mrs.

Leland (Catherine) Just, Craig, and Mary Campbell, Columbus; 13 step grandchildren and 14 step great grandchildren; one brother, Walter Guy Hunt, Seymour; and two sisters, Mrs. Victor (Sunny) Brandt, Hubert, N.C., and Jackie Bricker, Oneca, Fla. She was preceded in death by one son, Robert; one brother and one sister. Services for Mrs. Kilgas are at 2 p.m.

Saturday at Voss Chapel with Dr. Stewart Silver officiating. Burial will be in the Lutheran Cemetery, Seymour. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today and until service time Saturday at Voss Mortuary.
