Inmate Phone Privileges:

Deposits may be made twenty- four hours, seven days a week using the Kiosk located at the Main Detention Center, and during visitation hours at the other kiosk locations. There is a $3.25 convenience fee per deposit, which is deducted from the amount deposited into the inmate’s account. To make a deposit, the depositor must know the inmate’s full booked name and jacket number. These kiosks are operated by a third-party, and to resolve an issues with the deposits, you will need to contact that third party.

The Palm Beach County Detention Center also uses Smart Deposit for inmate commissary accounts.

Transactions using the kiosk will immediately deposit the money into the inmate’s account avoiding delays during holidays or weekends and making the money readily available for commissary purchases.Any monies deposited, including bond money, will be subject to the normal collections for debts owed to the jail by the inmate. All inmates are charged a $25 processing fee per incarceration, then a $3/day maintenance fee. They may also be charged self-initiated medical fees ranging from $5 to $100, depending on the service requested.

There is no limit on the amount of money an inmate may have deposited, but inmates may only buy canteen items on designated canteen days, may only spend $90 on clothing and $90 on other items, for a total of $180 each canteen day.
